"Having performed the role of 1st Assistant Director and Editor in previous projects, I jumped at the challenge and opportunity of being the Director for the short film ‘Worthless Woman'. After being approached by Mannisha Mahal with the narrative, I was immediately fascinated by the story and it’s significance in terms of raising awareness of a serious and contemporary issue in society. 

 

Worthless Woman is a thought provoking short film that puts a spotlight on perspectives and practices that many people won’t know about or even realise still occur today. And it is portrayed in such a visually simplistic way yet still manages to get across its purpose for existing. I hope this film will have a meaningful impact on its audience and I look forward to embarking on future projects."
